About Chase Skylar DeMayo

Chase Skylar DeMayo smiling outdoors and holding up a peace sign.

Who Chase Is

Chase Skylar DeMayo is a near-death experiencer, speaker, educator, writer, and U.S. Air Force veteran based in Central Florida. He explores near-death experiences, spiritual meaning, and life afterward, with a distinctive focus on military and veteran experiences. On April 1, 2008, at age 20, Chase experienced cardiac arrest while stationed at Langley Air Force Base. His personal account includes an encounter with someone he understood to be Jesus.

Chase kept the experience private for approximately 12 years. His recovery, medical retirement, veteran support experiences, education, and eventual connection with the near-death experience community helped him find language for what happened and a purpose for sharing it.

Today, Chase welcomes fellow experiencers, families, veterans, and curious people of every belief into conversations about love, purpose, identity, and everyday life after an extraordinary experience. Through personal testimony and educational resources, he invites people to explore with kindness, ask thoughtful questions, and leave room for laughter.

Why I Share My Story

I do not share my story to tell anyone what to believe. I share it because extraordinary experiences can leave people feeling deeply alone, and because hope, curiosity, kindness, and laughter can help us find our way forward. If my story opens a door for you, walk through it at your own pace. I am not a medical doctor or licensed mental health provider; I share personal testimony, spiritual interpretation, and educational information, not medical or mental health advice.
